Some Awesome Smoothie Combos

We are obsessed with smoothies! So here are some of Mia's favourite combos:

 

Lime and Coconut Smoothie
(Forgot to get a photo of this one, was too keen to drink it sorry!)

2 tsp lime zest
1 lime, skin removed
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup coconut water
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp coconut
2 tsp maca
1 tsp macadamia nut butter
2 tsp chia seeds
Handful of chopped kale or baby spinach
1 banana

Blend and enjoy!

Brown Rice Pudding Smoothie
 


1 banana
1/4 paw paw
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup water
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Optional extras: maca powder, vitamin C powder, slippery elm powder

Blend away!

Top with activated almonds, bee pollen, cinnamon, coconut and vanilla.

Raspberry and Coconut Fro-Yo
(Technically not a smoothie but it’s so good so I had to add it in.)


1/2 cup frozen raspberries
3 tbsp Greek yoghurt or coyo
1 tbsp coconut cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp maca
3-4 ice cubes

Blend.

Beet-Berry Smoothie

First juice:
2 beetroots
1 carrot
1 lemon, skin removed
Handful of kale

Then place the juice in a blender along with:
1 cup coconut water
½ avocado
½ cup frozen berries
4 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 tsp slippery elm
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp maca

Topping (optional)
Bee Pollen
Cacao Nibs

Blend and add toppings if you wish.
